International Flight Training Tamworth (IFTT) is a leading aviation training facility based at Tamworth Regional Airport, offering world-class pilot training programs for domestic and international students.
IFTT Student Accommodation
The International Flight Training Tamworth (IFTT) offers on-site, purpose-built accommodation designed for the comfort and convenience of aviation students. The village features 331 individual student rooms across seven modern accommodation blocks, each within a secure, landscaped compound.
Every room is private and fully equipped with a king single bed, television, mini-fridge, study desk, and ensuite bathroom. Each accommodation block also includes a shared common room, kitchen, and laundry facilities, providing students with both independence and community connection.
IFTT Catering Services
Adjacent to the accommodation village, IFTT’s spacious dining hall seats up to 350 people and is serviced by our catering partner, ICANCATER — a leading name in aviation and institutional catering. Students enjoy a rotating menu of Western and Asian contemporary meals, served for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
To support students with demanding flying schedules, pre-packed inflight meals are also available (to be arranged the night before). ICANCATER caters for vegetarian and Halal diets, and additional special dietary requirements can be accommodated upon request. For meal inquiries or special requests please contact their team.
Student Services & Recreational Facilities
The International Flight Training Tamworth experience extends beyond the classroom and cockpit — fostering wellbeing, connection, and recreation.
Students have access to a wide range of on-site recreational facilities, including:

- A fully equipped gymnasium
- Expansive sporting fields for outdoor activities and team sports
The large Recreation Room provides a comfortable space to relax and socialise, featuring multiple lounge areas, a large-screen TV, pool table, and table tennis setup.
You can also visit the Tamworth Aero Club, located with in the airport precinct.
